XColdPro seeds are standard BIP-39 on BIP-44 paths, so they import into any standard wallet. There is no proprietary format, and nobody has to ask us first. Leaving a wallet should be easy, so that staying is a choice.

How FROST ELITE commissions are paid
FROST ELITE pays commission after the sale settles, 30 days from the order, so there is no clawback later. Payouts go through Stripe to your own connected account once you have earned $100. Your seed phrase is not locked to XColdPro
Your seed phrase is standard BIP-39. If the software were gone tomorrow, the same twelve or twenty-four words restore in wallets such as Trezor, Ledger, Sparrow, Electrum, MetaMask or Phantom, and the same addresses come back. That is a design choice, because a wallet you cannot leave is a lease, not cold storage.

An honest answer to: in what sense is software cold storage cold?
Software cold storage is exactly as cold as the machine you put it on. XColdPro generates seeds locally, keeps keys in memory only for seconds and ships everything locally, while Sentinel Guard watches the whole system. The strongest setup is still a machine that does nothing else and never goes online.

A BootVault licence is lifetime and covers three devices
A BootVault licence is a lifetime licence covering three device activations, with no renewal on the wallet software. Moving to a new machine means deactivating the old one and activating the new one, and your seed never enters into it. The licence governs our software, not your coins.

Install, first launch, wallet created: what happens in XColdPro
XColdPro installs to a computer you already own, and on first launch the seed is generated locally from the operating system's secure random source. What you write down is a standard BIP39 phrase. At rest the wallet is AES-256-GCM under your master password, and keys sit in RAM for seconds and are wiped in three passes.

If XDRIP disappeared tonight, you would hold a standard BIP39 seed phrase with BIP44 derivation, importable into any wallet that reads those standards. There is no proprietary format, no account needed to spend and no server of ours in the path. The software generates the seed on your own machine.

SeedVault: Shamir threshold recovery with shares you choose

XColdPro is software and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux on a machine you already own, with the full protocol set available whether or not anything is plugged in. ColdGuardian is an optional SSD in a custom case that houses the software, a form factor with no secure element in it. The bundle buys physical separation, and the choice depends on how you live.
