StudioX: the in-browser studio included with every XECHO creator account
Every XECHO creator account comes with StudioX, our in-browser studio, free tier included. You can record, mix with gain and pan on every channel, solo what you need and release through XECHO when it is done. We do not charge creators for the tools to make the work, at any tier.
XECHO authors now have ebooks on their own author page
Authors on XECHO now have their ebooks showing on their own author page. XECHO carries music, audiobooks and ebooks in one app, so a writer does not have to send readers to three different places to find their work.
To join the XECHO beta, you fill out a request form with your name, email, what you do and why you want in. A person on the team reads every request, and if it is a yes your code arrives by email. Artists can start on the free tier with up to five releases, and the beta is invite-only.
An invitation to artists: your music stays yours on XECHO
If you make music and are not on XECHO yet, this is our ask. Upload a track and it is yours on the platform rather than licensed back to you, and 85 cents of every dollar stays with the artist. It is an invite-only beta, and you can request a code on our site.
Your seed phrase is standard BIP-39. If the software were gone tomorrow, the same twelve or twenty-four words restore in wallets such as Trezor, Ledger, Sparrow, Electrum, MetaMask or Phantom, and the same addresses come back. That is a design choice, because a wallet you cannot leave is a lease, not cold storage.
Tales of Xdripia trailer: a first look at the living universe
Tales of Xdripia is a living science-fantasy universe built around the Primordial Sphere and the wider Xdripian cosmos, with realms, lineages, machines and myths that keep expanding through lore, art, music and interactive experiences. We released a trailer as a first look at that world.
An honest answer to: in what sense is software cold storage cold?
Software cold storage is exactly as cold as the machine you put it on. XColdPro generates seeds locally, keeps keys in memory only for seconds and ships everything locally, while Sentinel Guard watches the whole system. The strongest setup is still a machine that does nothing else and never goes online.
Authors got a working hub on XECHO: an end-to-end book upload flow, a catalogue of published titles, verification, a payouts page and a metrics page. The metrics come from a newly built API so the numbers are computed by the system rather than estimated. The beta remains invite-only, with no date promised for general access.
XECHO previews: thirty seconds of any track, open to anyone
Previews shipped this week on XECHO: thirty seconds of any track, open to anyone without an account or code. Full audio stays behind a per-track token, with the gate placed at the read surface rather than the player so it does not leak. Beta artists can now send their track to anyone to hear.
XECHO build log: payout path complete and book catalogue pages
Last week on XECHO, artists gained the ability to claim on-chain earnings, the last piece of the payout path that needed a human in the middle. Books and audiobooks got their own catalogue pages with structured data and a controlled vocabulary for subjects and genres. The beta remains invite-only, with no general-access date promised.
SkyWalk1000 is in permitting, and we are not dressing that up
SkyWalk1000 is a carbon-fiber pedestrian bridge in Switzerland we are working on with ElaraTeq Sagl, currently in permitting and zoning. Permitting means surveys, engineering review and a municipality taking as long as it takes. XDRIP was never only a software company: story, music, security software and physical infrastructure are four lanes of one Universe.
At the center is the Primordial Sphere, the source-world of Astraea, the Elysian Complex, the Chaos Crucible, the Convergence and many others. The two smaller bodies, Shadow Realm and Specularis, are its siblings rather than its children, and passage between them is not assumed.
